Capacity Cycle For Hips
This course explores how the body develops true movement capacity through mobility, active engagement, breath integration, and nervous system support.
This educational experience bridges modern movement science with embodied practice to support more intelligent sequencing, safer mobility work, and deeper understanding of the relationship between strength, flexibility, regulation, and movement freedom.
Includes 9 science based lectures + 5 programmed Capacity Cycles ( 15 movement practices) to get you started!
The Capacity Cycle for Hips blends mobility training, fascial awareness, breathwork, strength development, and nervous system regulation into an integrated educational experience designed to help practitioners build sustainable, usable range of motion with greater stability, awareness, and control.
Designed to transform the way we approach hip openers in yoga and movement practices.
Goals and Objectives:
This course is designed to help you:
Develop a deeper understanding of mobility and learn how to access greater range, strength, and control within the hips in a safe, and sustainable way.Explore the role of the nervous system in mobility training and discover how regulation, breath, and awareness directly influence movement capacity and restriction.Learn how to integrate the entire body with intentional breath patterns to create more supported, and effective hip-opening experiences.Discover innovative techniques and movement applications that can immediately be integrated into yoga classes, movement sessions, and personal practice to support longevity and optimal function.Understand the three-phase Capacity Cycle methodology and learn how to apply it within movement education, vinyasa sequencing, and hip-opening experiences to create more intelligent and transformative approaches to mobility training.
You will have access to five fully sequenced Capacity Cycles (15 movement practices) that cover all ranges of motion within the hip to begin infusing into your classes and personal practices.
What is the Capacity Cycle?
The Capacity Cycle is built around a progressive three-phase system designed to help the body safely access, strengthen, control, and integrate new ranges of motion within the hips.
Each phase builds upon that last and is repeated over multiple sessions to allow the body to gradually adapt, build trust, and develop sustainable movement capacity over time.
Phase 1:
Strength & Nervous System Safety
Phase 2:
Active Mobility & Outer Range Control
Phase 3:
Integrated Movement & Control
